The Annual Firearms Instructor Conference will be held April 10-12, 2017, on the campus of the North Carolina Justice Academy.  Due to the success of last year’s conference and the continued request for additional training, the conference will be conducted by the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors® (IALEFI) as a Regional Training Conference.

Participants will have the opportunity to visit with vendors on Wednesday as well as take several of the five different classes being offered this year on Tuesday.

As time for the conference is quite near, please remember to bring enough ammunition for all the shooting classes in the event you do not receive confirmation prior to the conference.

Pre-registration for classes will be on a first come/first serve basis as space in each offering is limited.  The attached registration list reflects all the classes offered and I would ask that you rank the classes, in order of preference 1 -5 which you would prefer to attend in each time slot.  Everything possible will be done to ensure that you get the courses you requested.

Cost of the program is $145.00 and checks should be made payable to IALEFI.  The pre-registration form should be mailed ASAP to the IALEFI office to get into the classes you prefer, faxed (603) 524-8856 or emailed to info@ialefi.com.  You can contact IALEFI via telephone at 603-524-8787 for credit card payments. Please mail all checks to IALEFI at 25 Country Club Road, Suite 707, Gilford, NH 03249.

Please remember that all IALEFI shooting classes require hearing protection, eye protection and a billed cap.

Instructors this year include Emanual Kapelsohn who served as an Adjunct Instructor for GunSite, Glock, Mossberg, etc. just to name a few; John Meyer, President of Team One Network former Vice President of H&K and the H&K International Training Division; Ken Farren, former SWAT Commander from Amarillo, TX Police Department; Don Smith formerly of Palm Bay, FL, Police Dept. and a member of the United States Marine Corps National Rifle Squad; Leo Bartel, a trainer with over 25 years of experience and a founding member of the Arizona Tactical Officers Association; and Paul Wassill, who worked with a large Canadian Police Department as well as trained overseas, and has done firearms consultant work for major movie studios.
