The NRA has been a steadfast ally to law enforcement through its Law Enforcement Division, established in 1960. Dedicated to supporting law enforcement, military, and security personnel, the division provides resources for firearms certification, instructor training, and competitive shooting events
Instructor Development Schools
The NRA’s commitment to law enforcement excellence shines through its Instructor Development Schools. These schools are designed to equip law enforcement firearms instructors with advanced skills in a range of tactics, techniques, and teaching methodologies. The curriculum is regularly updated to ensure it meets the highest standards of comprehensiveness and cost-effectiveness.
Competitions
The NRA facilitates several law enforcement competitions to enhance tactical skills through real-world scenarios.
